Arbitration ‘on paper’ is a process that parties embark on in cases where the matter is reaching a resolute state and the issue in dispute have been discussed by parties but they cannot reach consensus on a moot point. Each party’s statement of case, affidavits and other supporting documents are referred to an Arbitrator for an award.
This inexpensive process is strongly recommended in cases where parties consensus on most of the issues in dispute has been reached and parties need to be assistance with a finding that is binding on both.
